Waltz 04:40
Baby take your hat off and walk this road with me Open up your eyes to see things you’ve never seen Of a life and of a love that’s calling your heart home Baby take your coat off why don’t you stay awhile Tell me about the burdens you’ve been carrying all those miles It has hurt and it has stung and it has burned but I’ve gotta warn you I’ve got some pain of my own Baby if I could, maybe I could walk the line between you and I will never be as close as you are to yourself Sleep easy darling, heaven still is lingering here Baby take you shoes off and come and dance with me Candles in the kitchen softly flickering Heaven’s graces fill the spaces between our shadows on the floor The places where we’ve never ever touched before Paradise is not lost.

Mosaic 04:26
We dreamed two pictures hanging on the wall Side by side downstairs in the hall Thought that they’d be there forever - thought they’d never change We didn’t think that they could fall down We thought the nails we used were tough enough To hold our pictures there when things got rough Who knew the earth could quake so violently We didn’t mean for them to fall down We are shattered, we are scattered, But there’s still beauty lying on the hardwood floor Are we willing to get down on our hands and knees And try our best to pick up every jagged piece We might get cut sorting through which are yours and mine We won’t let the broom to sweep us away Where they used to hang, the wall’s a little pale And you can see the scars that used to hold the nails And in the blood-stained shards of glass sprinkled around There’s our mosaic lying on the ground

I would like to call your bed my home It’s the only place that I feel safe and not alone Wrapped up in your arms Wrapped up in your arms I love it when you’re taking care of me You lock the doors turn out the lights and climb in next to me and Wrapped up in your arms My mother used to sing me sound asleep Pray to the Lord and ask for angels for my soul to keep me Wrapped up in your arms Now there’s only one right way to say goodnight It’s underneath the covers with you holding me so tightly Wrapped up in your arms So tell me baby how has it come to this? Without a look without a touch without a kiss You turn your back on me and I cease to exist You send me out into the night with a goodnight oh how ironic can it get? And there aren’t any niceties to couch it in You know you’ve ruined me forever sleeping alone Without a home, without being Wrapped up in your arms This is not the way that bedtime stories end Where the children find their way back home and parents tuck them into bed Wrap them in their arms And kiss them on the head And turn out the lights Please don’t turn out the lights

All night, all day Angels watching over me my Lord All night, all day Angels watching over me Now I lay me down to sleep Angels watching over me, my Lord Pray the Lord my soul to keep Angels watching over me If I die before I wake Angels watching over me, my Lord Pray the Lord my soul to take Angels watching over me

Mockingbird 04:20
Look who I’m running from; Is he the same one I’ve been chasing after? Afraid that he might catch me, I’m scared that he might get away. Who’d ever thought that I Would fall for the one who’s haunting me? Imagine my surprise to realize I was the one following his lead. He looks so good most of the time; He is the fantasy that captivates my mind and leaves me Dead from desire, Burned by his fire, Scared and wanting more. Look who I’m running from; Is he the same one I’ve been chasing after? Why is the angel of light the only one who sings in the night? Shadows cast of a nightmare’s reverie. Dancing illusions out of a broken window above, And in flies a mocking bird dressed like a dove.

Lost at Sea 04:31
You’ve been resting in my arms for I don’t know how long. Has it been days or weeks or months or years since it all went wrong? All the memories of this morning are slow to be restored. In the thunderstorm of last night we were cast overboard. We are lost at sea, blown by changing winds We drift aimlessly out of sight of shore Baby, there’s no hope on the horizon I guess that we just might never be found Waves brush against the sides of our makeshift raft The sound it makes reminds me of when you laugh We wrap ourselves around a prayer struggling for the words to say Is there something else we could have done? Is it supposed to end this way? I didn’t see this coming until it was too late Now what choice do we have but to accept our fate? We are waiting for the sunrise to pour across the waves I stare into the depths of your eyes and slowly drift away I guess that we just might never be found I guess it’d be all right if we’re never found

Windy City 04:46
It’s hard to remember or believe it when we’re told That the world can be a warm place and not just bitter cold But we don’t have the strength now to brave the latest snow But soon it will be June and plenty warm I know Hand me my jacket Walk me to the door We’ll bundle up ‘til springtime And we’ll see how it goes In like a lion, out like lamb Only if the season changes who I am Can circumstances alter a love we thought we saw We’ll hold on ‘til springtime and maybe it will thaw And it’s not the windy city just for a little breeze It’ll chill you to the bone, it’ll knock you on your knees We don’t have the strength now to brave the latest snow But soon it will be June and plenty warm I hope

Lavender's blue, diddle diddle Lavender's green, When I am king, diddle diddle You shall be queen. Lavender's green, diddle diddle Lavender's blue, You must love me, diddle diddle 'Cause I love you. Down in the vale, diddle diddle Where flowers grow, And the birds sing, diddle diddle All in a row. A brisk young man, diddle diddle Met with a maid, And laid her down, diddle diddle Under the shade. My dear be kind, diddle diddle While here we lie, And you will love, diddle diddle And never cry. For you and I, diddle diddle Now all are one, And we will lie, diddle diddle No more alone. Let the birds sing, dilly, dilly, And the lambs play; We shall be safe, dilly, dilly, Out of harm's way. I love to dance, dilly, dilly, I love to sing; When I am queen, dilly, dilly, You'll be my king.

When we are old one night and the moon
arcs over the house like an antique
China saucer and the teacup sun
 follows somewhere far behind
I hope the stars deepen to a shine
so bright you could read by it
if you liked and the sadness
we will have known go away
for awhile – in this hour or two
before sleep – and that we kiss
standing in the kitchen not fighting
gravity so much as embodying
its sweet force, and I hope we kiss
like we do today knowing so much
good is said in this primitive tongue
from the wild first surprising ones
to the lower dizzy ten thousand
infinitely slower ones—and I hope
while we stand there in the kitchen
making tea and kissing, the whistle
of the teapot wakes the neighbors.

Good News 04:53
We're going to war and we say God's on our side That the enemy had better run and hide Cause we've got the power and we know we're right We're gonna pray that God's gonna bless But if we're praying for own health and wealth We won’t hear from God we’ll just hear from ourselves I am longing for good news Not selfish half truths Not wars to end all wars But peace that's been restored When we will all be one, in the Father, Spirit, Son And pray your will be done, your kingdom come Break out your tools of politics and philosophy Of democracy and theology We’ll build him just how we want him to be Domesticate until he thinks and looks like And validates everything I believe until he’s on a leash that I can lead What if the enemy is not just in a cave What if there’s a terrorist in you and me Then who is gonna save, who is gonna save, not a God that we have made

The sands of time are sinking, The dawn of heaven breaks; The summer morn I’ve sighed for The fair, sweet morn awakes: Dark, dark had been the midnight
But dayspring is at hand, And glory, glory dwelleth In Imanuel’s land. I’ve wrestled on towards Heaven, 'Gainst storm, and wind, and tide
 Now, like a weary traveller,
 That leaneth on his guide,
 Amid the shades of evening,
 While sinks life's ling'ring sand,
I hail the glory dawning
From Immanuel's land.   Oh! Christ He is the Fountain,
The deep sweet well of love!
The streams on earth I've tasted,
 More deep I'll drink above:
There, to an ocean fulness, His mercy doth expand,
 And glory—glory dwelleth
In Immanuel's land. Oh! I am my Belovèds,
 And my Beloved is mine!
He brings a poor vile sinner
 Into His "House of wine."
I stand upon His merit,
I know no other stand,
 Not e'en where glory dwelleth
In Immanuel's land.   I shall sleep sound in Jesus, Fill'd with His likeness rise,
To live and to adore Him,
To see Him with these eyes.
 'Tween me and resurrection
But Paradise doth stand;
 Then—then for glory dwelling
 In Immanuel's land!
